Creating an inviting,
functional home office
by lisa reddy

In the first of three profiles, we present a modern L-shaped home, built to fit on a petite footprint. As you take in the stunning views of Lake Ontario and surrounding heritage homes, it is unimaginable that what once stood on this lot, a run-down garage, has been transformed into a contemporary haven for family and friends.

This 19th-century Victorian home is situated on 10.8 hectares that include the original barn and carriage house. The owners focused on specific interior projects for this previously restored home, and attend to the grounds, always in keeping with the era.

A drop-dead gorgeous kitchen, custom furniture and sophisticated tropical accents transform this lakefront condominium into a chic urban dwelling.
